Who: The National Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression (NAARPR) What: We would like to invite you to attend the 3-day conference NAARPR is hosting. We are reaching out to all strands of the peoples’ movement to join us to get involved in the National Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression (NAARPR).

Why: This year is the historic 50th year anniversary conference for the NAARPR, celebrating decades of organized struggle for civil and human rights for all oppressed people. We will use this conference to hone in and focus on organizing ourselves and our communities to meet the challenges we face at this moment, learn from organizers from all over the country, and work to steward collective solidarity and power to meet future challenges. The kickoff rally is at CTU Hall, with speakers including CTU Presiden Stacey Davis Gate, Chicago’s Mayor Brandon Johnson, Executive chair of NAARPR, Frank Chapman and the legendary Angela Davis, who was freed by the movement that began NAARPR in 1973.

Press badges will be provided at the rally Friday evening at 6 PM or Saturday morning at 9 AM.

Please email media@caarpr.org to get on our press list for the event.
