Shouldn’t the focus be on all the shootings and murders commited by blacks against blacks and not so much on police crimes. I think the biggest problem is the black on black crime rate. There are more of those crimes than police crimes. Kids are getting shot everyday. They can’t even go outside and play and be children. Police aren’t killing the children, black men are. And wasn’t someone shot across the street from Kennedy King College about two weeks ago? It wasn’t done by the police!
Shelia, the point that you have raised about the shootings going on in our community is very important and should be strongly addressed. But that issue is only one of the devastating that we are facing. We have chosen to address the going violence that being perpetrated against us, by the same police that we are paying through our tax dollars, to protect and serve us! We are working with many families that are suffering because of vicious police crimes against their loved ones. So with all due respect, we will certainly support those who are stepping up to organize around the black against black shootings. We can’t do it all!
Hello, My name is Joshua Thomas and I’m writing you because I’m facing a big issue that can possibly effect the ready of my life. First off I would like to tell you a little about myself, I am a twenty four year old young man that just graduated college in arkansas last month with a degree in mathematics and will possibly be attending graduate school if this charge is removed, I am a father of two boys that are my heart and are the reason why I work so hard. Recently detectives from the eight district came to my home and responded to what was later discovered to be a bogus call, while responding the detectives got out of their car and pushed my head into a blue and white patrol car and began punching and choking me to the point that the officer in the blue and white patrol car jumped out of the car and the officer and the detectives got into a physical altercation (this is all documented and video) because of the way the detectives handled me. After all of this was done my entire neighborhood was outside and witnessed it and called the independent police review board and sent them to the police station and once the detectives found out that they were being investigated they put four counts of aggravated battery to a peace officer on me which resulted to me doing a month in the county jail, which I wasn’t accustomed to which led me to being put on a psych division, if I didn’t have a family that loved me I would have lost my mind and possibly committed suicide on there , so I ask you with complete sincerity to look into this for the sake of my children future. I wouldn’t waste your time if I was guilty of what I was being charged with. I was also wondering if you guys knew of any attorneys that could help me I don’t have much money but I can give all that I have.
Thank You.
Sincerely, Joshua Thomas
The same detctives that were working for the Chicago Police Department then, are now working for Anita Alvarez. They are actually the (detectives then now turned into investigators) they are the people who are re-investigating the wrongfully accused. Remember the investigators are nothing more than retired from Chicago PD now working for CRook County. The bad detectives are their friends and drinking buddies. They are all tied together. They cover for each other. Anita knows this is true she isn’t looking for the truth she just wants all this to go away.
Reminder, look at the Frank Cuppello case. (google it) He is an investigator for Anita Alvarez office. He voted for ten plus years in Crook County in Elmwood Park. The only problem with this he lived in Lake County this entire time. He is related to Crook County Board Member Peter Silvestri. Anita’s office is the primary office that investigates and prosecutes voter fraud. She refused to charge him, she didn’t even suspend this guy. She said it was a conflict for her office to prosecute so she gave the case to the Attorney General’s Office Lisa Madigan. Lisa Madigan is now saying she gave the case to the State Police to investigate. Hiram Graue the Director of the State Police is on record saying he will not investigate this case. The only thing they are doing is covering up this case. Anita is a bad person and sooner or later everyone will know this.
